About

Swell Swim was founded by Brevard County native, Rachel Hall. Rachel has been teaching and coaching swimming for nearly 15 years. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports & Exercise Science with a Specialty in Coaching from the University of Central Florida. She is currently certified as a Red Cross Water Safety Instructor as well as a USA Swimming Coach.

Rachel was a competitive swimmer from the ages of 6 through high school. She began as an assistant coach with her family's swim team as a teenager and became a certified USA Swimming coach at the age of 18. While a student at UCF, Rachel was an age group coach for Highlander Aquatics at Lake Highland Prep School in Orlando. Shortly before graduation, she moved to Southwest Aquatics in Winter Garden. During her tenure with the Orlando area teams, she was selected twice as a Southern Zone Age Group Championship coach, representing Florida Swimming, and also served on the coaching staff for the Florida All Stars team three years in a row. In addition, she was chosen to attend a USA Swimming Women's Leadership Summit in North Carolina.

Five years ago, Rachel transitioned to personal swim instruction. This gives her the opportunity to combine her love of the water and working with swimmers of all ages, with a commitment to provide the finest instruction. While focusing on stroke development and refinement, Rachel provides a fun and encouraging learning environment.
